Art Submissions
Art Submissions Are Currently Closed
We will publish 10-12 illustrations with the poems. Topics appearing in a given journal will be posted online once the poems are selected, and artists will have three days to produce and send artwork. All artwork will also be considered for cover art. We accept visual art of any kind. You must own publication rights and be the artwork’s author.
Initial artwork submissions should be emailed as JPGs whose largest dimension is 1000 pixels at 72 dpi. Please send no more than five pieces per submission period. Once your work has been accepted, we’ll ask for high-resolution versions.
Here are some things to keep in mind for artwork submissions: since the art will appear as illustrations in a poetry magazine, art that can be easily incorporated onto a page with a lot of whitespace and fits well near or around a poem will be more likely to be used. A given issue will have between 1 and 8 pages devoted to full-page artwork. Most of the artwork will be alongside, above, or below a poem.
